Surveillance Demos ...

We have setup two types of video surveillance systems in our office:
One is an IP System utilizing Strand Edge Technology (IP / Linux based software). The other system is your standard DVR system.

On the IP Surveillance system we have placed VGA, 2MP and 5MP cameras on the system. You can demo the system and see just how easy Strand software is to use, along with seeing the differences between camera resolutions.

In order to demo the system, click here and then install the java client on which the Strand surveillance system interface operates.
(Note: due to bandwith usage, we are asking you to please email us for the username and password.)

After accessing the system click on 'Maps' to the navigation bar on the right. You can easily select individual cameras and view them. If you wish to view a side by side of a vga camera and a 2megapixel camera click on 'Matrices' on the right and choose 'front door'.

The DVR surveillance system can be accessed here
(Note: you will need to use Internet Explorer to access the DVR system and as before, please email for username and password)

It may seem that there is little difference between the types of surveillance. And in viewing both systems in a live environment there is little, until you need to turn over video surveillance footage to authorites or for legal action. At that time will you be able to recognize that license plate or the suspect? Take a look at our comparison page to view video clips of each type of camera. Better yet, view the captured images taken directly from either the DVR or NVR that would be used and passed on to local authorities.
